In my opinion, this small book has made the understanding of our complicated emotional imbalances amazingly simple. Mental illness is a big struggle. I have been struggling with some mental health issues throughout my life. Therefore, often times, I flip through the books on these topics on Amazon. I found the cover of this book a bit intriguing that caught my attention— so, I bought it. With the help of a very creative metaphor of Mindlake, this book has explained the working of mind. The author has adopted a highly imaginative and artistic approach to explain the phenomenon of mental illness with the help of graphical illustrations. We, everyday, read a lot of stuff about the benefits of meditation and mindfulness therapies. But how these techniques actually work in enhancing our mental capability to combat our mental issues is really a new thing that I have learned from these illustrations. The reason of giving four stars is that this book is shorter than my expectation. Great read for those who want to understand dynamics of our emotional disturbances!
