Lexxia is a strong complex character who will learn to let go of grudges, importance of family, varying shades of black and white in relationships of families and lovers, respect/acceptance and still loving a person when you don't agree with their choices...because it's their life.Laura has suffered with a life long illness that has hindered her life. Now an adult she makes some changes that will affect everyone in her life.Supporting characters are strong and feel familiar. You can relate to everyone in this story even when you disagree with them.As. stated by the author, B. B. Rowell,"I am a work in progress and so are my endeavors. I hope with time to get better", thus is the essence of this book...and hopefully with our lives. Add this to your collection and enjoy.

Title alone caught my attention,then I read what it was about and it peaked my curiosity, so I bought it. I was unbelievably surprised! I didn't want to put it down every time I had to stop reading I was anxious to get back to reading it to find out what was going to happen next or how things would work themselves out. Good book and I would recommend it highly to others.From Sonya a gracious reader.

Moms was a bit protective but I liked her as well . Dad was too cool, he loved them all and pretty much minded his business. Sam seemed to be a very good father. Poor Laura was really strong but mad e a few unsound decisions. I thought in the end Laura and alexia would live happily ever after.
