0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Published in the early 90s so a bit dated By Chitown Reader I'm not going into a lot of detail here but I hope this info helps someone. These books are dated; I think both were originally published in 1994. With that in mind, be prepared to go back in time.Carter's book was the better of the two for me, by far. Desiree needs help due to her ex-husband's release from prison. Both characters are interesting, they have some decent intimate moments, and I liked them despite Desiree's insistence on withholding info that should have been shared. It was a decent read. Decent plot, cute kid so I give this one 3-stars.Falcon's book was a challenge to finish. Mara is a dedicated mother but has no other redeeming qualities imho. I did not like her. At all. I did, however, enjoy the evolving relationship between Falcon and Mara's daughter Susannah. To be fair, Falcon has some moments early on where he's not likeable either, but he quickly changes to a good, responsible guy. Again, pretty good intimate moments but little else to recommend this one. As the book opens, Falcon buys something with $20 and that was my first clue that this one was older too because that twenty wouldn't come close to covering the purchase now. I also thought that Susannah's hand was overplayed. I'd probably give this book a single star.For the record, the low rating is not due to these books being dated; it's because the characters are one dimensional and the plots are rather over the top. Clearly I'm in the minority but that's what makes the world go 'round.

Fun, excitement, sadness, romance, everything. I couldn't put it down. Every romance lover needs to read this. You will love it. Was very rivoting and page turning.
