Perfect end to a wonderful series By Whispering Stories **I was gifted a copy of this book for free, in exchange for an honest review**"And Baby Makes Four", is the fourth and final book in the ‘Mishaps in Millrise’ series by Tilly Tennant.Phoebe has a lot of decisions to make about her future and that of her unborn child. Can she and Jack reconcile their differences and can Jack overcome his fear that he will end up losing Phoebe, just like he did with his first wife?Having followed Phoebe , Jack and Little Maria for so long, I was saddened to see their story come to an end, but I feel that Tilly Tennant saved the best for last.This focus of this book featured mainly on Phoebe, Jack and their unborn child. Although, the series couldn’t end without little Maria and of course the wonderful Midnight, without whom the books wouldn’t be the same, as her unique, wacky, fun character brought an air of comedy to each one.Phoebe has gone from strength to strength in each book and in this one we get to see a more confident, young woman, who has not only learnt to fully stand up for herself, but has come to realise that she is in control of her own life, meaning she should be the one to have the final say on decisions concerning her whether people like it or not.My view of Jack felt has been up and down throughout the series and in the last book although I full understood how and why he reacted badly to Phoebe being pregnant, I was upset at his handling of the situation. I’m glad that he learned to face his fears and prove to Phoebe what a wonderful man he really is. He and Phoebe really do make a lovely couple.I have loved each book in the series and if your looking for a lovely afternoon read, something to pick you up and put you in a good mood then the ‘Mishaps in Millrise’ collection of books would be perfect.

By Simona Elena *Book provided by the publisher On NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*And Baby Makes Four is the forth and last part of Tilly Tennant’s Mishaps in Millrise series. It picks right up after The Parent Trap and continues the story of Jack’s and Phoebe’s relationship.I was so glad I was able to read straight on, because paft 3 left us at a crucial place and I just couldn’t wait to know what happens next. I was just hoping for Jack and Phoebe to overcome their struggles and be a happy family.With their exciting news they had in the last book, I was just so happy. It was just for Jack now to fin a way to forget his past and be happy now.The way the story progressed in this part was adorable, cute and just how I imagined it. I loved the little scenes with Jack, Phoebe and Maria, full of sparks. Their parents got their coverage as well and it was great to suddenly see them all so supportive and being one whole big family.The ending started with a bit of shock, but that made it all even more exciting. I especially liked Jack’s mum in this part. And the ending is just perfect!!!I said that before, but Tilly really gets better with every part. Her writing is full of life, heart and passion. It’s just so bubbly, gripping and vivid. I can’t wait for Tilly’s next book.

By The Nest of Books Review What a great finish to a fabulous series!In this last book - novella we see a lot of focus on Pheobe, Jack and their unborn child. I am very sad that I have to say goodbye to this little family. I loved every minute in the company of the Millrise colorful characters ups and downs, turns and twist. In this final chapter, we see more drama, more communication and a bit of hope thrown into the storyline.I loved watching Pheobe develop into more confident and strong leading lady of this series. I am still not sure about Jack, one minute I liked him the next I am utterly appalled by his behaviour and reactions towards Pheobe. Although, I was glad when Jack finally faced his "demons' and sorted out his relationship with our lovely Pheobe. I adored little Maria and the fabulous Midnight. Those two definitely brought a laughter and comedy into this charming series.Nest's RoundUpI highly recommend this series! It has warm, funny, realistic outlook on contemporary family life and the balance between relationships and careers.​
