I will be brutally honest and say that I have mixed feelings about this book. The base storyline was nice and engaging, but it just fell short of its potential for me. Being in the first person point of view seemed to slow the story down for me and it sometimes felt as though I were reading a description. Having said that, there are some points of the story that are deeply emotional and work well with first person. I did enjoy the character chemistry and of course the sexy men. The family dynamics were equally emotional and adorable and entertaining for me. The actual base romance of the book was hard for me. I loved the characters, but their actions seemed so juvenile to me at times. The situations were important and meant to be deeply emotional, but they had a teenager mood swing type of feel for me. Overall, I'd say it was an okay book and could very well be a nice read for some.~Wicked Reads Review Team~ (less)
