A shudder runs through my body at the concept.** She escaped and went to the hospital, a really nice nurse named Lil helped her go through everything with the Dr's and police. Lil then gives Shannon her cell number even though it's strictly forbidden! The police put her into witness protection where she becomes Ella and leaves England for the U.S. where she blossoms at work. She went to school and became a fashion dress designer, but she's still extremely hesitant about men. After five years of her new life, she meets Blake, and for the first time in her life she is really attracted to a man, but still worried because of her past. That's when Lil decides to move to the U.S. to be with Ella. Ella's life is wonderful, she has Lil with her and her relationship with Blake is going well. Then things change and get really scary, has Jason found her? Is it someone else? Blake promises he'll keep her safe, but Jason always told her he would always find and come for her. What will Ella do now? Will Blake be able to keep her safe, will she have to run, hide, leave everyone she loves behind to start all over again? You'll have to read to find out, but I promise it'll be worth it! This is the first time reading E.M. Gladden's work, but it will not be the last. I gave this story ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!
